when i open that NHKWorld website and i saw they update a new recipe.. tori no mizutaki. yup !
of course i will try this cooking tomorrow .. looks yummy !!
wanna know how to make it ??
alright !!!!
scroll down, please !~
as usual the ingredient is for four person serving.. if you want to make it for many..just add the ingredient yourself , okay ?? :3
we need:
・500 g chicken (preferably with bones still attached)
・400 g napa (Chinese) cabbage
・8 cups water
・1 teaspoon salt
・1 small piece of root ginger (weighing about 20 g)
okay, got everything you have ?
so, let's discover how to cook. actually it's quite easy to make ! yeah !
first, we cut the chicken into 4 cm portions; quickly blanch in boiling water and drain.
second, add the chicken and 8 cups of water to a pot and bring to the boil over medium heat. Reduce to a gentle simmer, and skim the fat that rises to the surface. Simmer gently for 20 minutes.
third, remove the tough core of cabbage and cut the leaves into strips about 6-7 cm in length and 2 cm in width. Peel and slice the ginger into thin strips.Once the chicken has simmered for 20 minutes, season with 1 teaspoon of salt.
fourth, add the cabbage and simmer for about another 5 minutes.
Lastly...serve the chicken, cabbage, and the stock in small individual serving bowls. The chicken and cabbage can be eaten with the sliced ginger and dipped in ponzu sauce or sesame sauce. ...
emm.. easy right ?? so, let;s try it !! ^^V
